Who we are - Annette Peters & Harriet Aitken are business partners in The Food Practice Ltd and have been involved in the food industry for over 20 years. We work closely with you to ultimately improve your business performance. We bring original thinking, astute analysis and practical, innovative solutions - flexing the mix of creativity, intellectual rigour and action as appropriate.

Our approach is defined by our belief that maximising potential is part knowledge, part experience and importantly, passion about food and the industry.

Harriet & Annette both live in Norfolk with the main office in Norwich but travel the UK, and have worked with retailers, suppliers, consultants and other food industry experts in Ireland, Europe, USA and the Far East.

Annette set up The Food Practice in 1997.  Annette and Harriet met whilst working for Marks & Spencer in its head office in London in 1991 where they were both successful product developers who had built up a reputation for being innovators as well as highly commercial - a rare combination. They remained friends and whilst Harriet set up her own consultancy after leaving M&S, in 2008 she joined The Food Practice.

Sarah Savage is a valued associate of The Food Practice Ltd. Whilst Sarah has had successful businesses of her own and still does, she joined The Food Practice in 2008 to help with concept generation and product development.
